Breakfast vs Makeup

The other day was my first day at my new place of work, so I also decided that it’d be my first day of operation “weight loss, clean eating and exercising, a.k.a FAT MUST DIE!”. Now this is privileged information, but I’ll just let you guys in on a lil’ secret-- there’s a way my body works and I’m sure this happens to most people out there. They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, especially if you’re trying to lose weight, but I have a bad habit of skipping breakfast and diving straight into whatever work I have for the day and when the day is half gone and I’m still deep in work and the hunger pangs start to set in(mind you, the pangs at this point are quite aggressive), I tend to go on a rampage and eat everything in sight, kinda like eating both breakfast and lunch in one sitting.

This was what happened on the first day of work and I ruined my diet and I felt really bad so I made a resolve to do better the next day by eating a healthy breakfast before leaving so that I‘d have enough energy to face the day.

Meanwhile, did I tell you guys that my new place of work is crawling with some sweet “bangderadang cute hot chocolate with caramel toppings” works of art in the form of male species,(who just became endangered by the way), I am not exaggerating, I actually tripped and fell on my face cos’ I was staring like a cow (details of this will be up in another post). Baby girl knew she had to bring her A-game on.

On day 2 of work and operation “FAT MUST DIE!”, I woke up late, but I hurried as fast as I could to get ready and go have breakfast . I’d just finished putting my clothes on and was about to apply my killer make-up for the day to pepper them guys at work when I heard the driver yelling my name. Seeing as I was already running late, in the few minutes I had left, I had to choose between slathering on some make-up on my already dry looking face (which by the way was still looking like that of a troll from being dragged out of bed too early) or going downstairs and making a quick breakfast to avoid over eating later in the day and ruining my diet. I don’t know about you but I really hate having to make life-defining decisions like these, I mean, it’s just too much pressure for one girl.  Feel free to cast your votes on what the best line of action should have been.
