*blows away dust* *clears
out cobwebs*
Hello everyone, I’m baaack!!! Or as my lovely friend
Onyedika would say, “hellos hellos”.
Before you guys start, I know I know, I’ve
been MIA (missing in action) for the
last year or so, please blame it on medical school and exams, and maybe put a
little of the blame on me too, but it’s been too too long and I’ve missed you
all, I’ve missed writing and I’ve missed this blog too.
At some point, I was
kind of skeptical about returning to this blog, I mean I didn’t know where to start
from, what to write about, but I decided what the heck! I started up this blog
as a way of sharing my random thoughts with the rest of the world and that’s
what I was going to continue doing.
On a lighter note,
all that med schooling has paid off. Please allow me to officially reintroduce
myself. My name is Dr. Alma Rosenfield. ( did you see what I did there? I added
the title “Dr” before my name, daammnnn! that felt good). It wasn’t easy but
God is just so good (can I get a Hallelujah anybody) and I give all the glory
to him.
I’ll be sharing some of my medical school experiences on the
blog—the good, the bad and the ugly, so to the medical students out there, do
feel free to suggest anything you’d like me to talk on.
I’ve definitely got a
lot of cleaning up to do on the blog, maybe give it a new look too, what do you
guys think? I’m open to suggestions.
Anyways I hope you all are fine and in good health (as your
doctor, I should be concerned about your health you know?). I’d also like to
officially invite you all to my induction and swearing-in ceremony on the 7th
of August at University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH) Ituku-Ozalla. Time is
11am prompt.
Stay tuned in because we’ve got a lot of interesting stuff
coming up on the blog.
Bye-bye for now.
Dr.
Alma Rosenfield
